Sheila's role includes leadership, strategic management, financial management, human resources, governance support and to ensure the development and sustainability of the organisation. She has an MBA in Human Resources Management and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Terry's role involves ensuring that all funds received are used and allocated accordingly. Her other duties include account preparation, budget monitoring and donor reporting.
Giusy has been working to maintain harmonious relationships with the communities, volunteers, partners and other stakeholders. She is also responsible for Corporate Fundraising and building new networks. She has a Bachelors degree in Sociology, specialising in Health and Population studies.
Charles’ main duties are to oversee all the logistics for Tanzania Futurebuilds and Climb Kilimanjaro for Kids. He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Development and an Advanced Diploma in Gender and Development.
Emmanuel manages various school improvement projects, manages and co-implements programmatic work with KWIECO, a local partner organisation in a pastoral community, and leads our school farming programme. The school farming programme has given Emmanuel particular expertise with parent engagement and maximising community participation in projects. He holds a Bachelors degree in Rural Development
Before being appointed as Programmes Officer, Goodluck was working as Programmes Intern at Childreach Tanzania. He graduated from the University of Dodoma in July 2013 with a Bachelor of Education in Policy, Planning and Management. His role at Childreach Tanzania is to implement, monitor and evaluate Deaf Education Development Programme(DEDP)projects. In his free time he enjoys listening to music and watching international news channels.
Sekeyi used to work as a radio presenter at local radio station Kili FM. In her role at as Project Coordinator, Sekeyi manages all My School My Voice activities, including identifying schools, designing, planning and implementing projects, as well as monitoring, evaluating and reporting on projects. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication.
Zerida is a Nutrition Officer for the Maisha Bora project and provides technical support on nutrition issues for pregnant and lactating woman and children under 5. Previously, Zerida worked as a Nutrition Officer for a USAID funded project at Faraja Trust Fund in Morogoro Municipal and Mvomero District. Zerida holds a Masters in Human Nutrition from Sokoine University. Zerida enjoys singing gospel music, reading novels and playing netball.
Before joining Childreach, Godfrey worked for Moshi Municipal Council as an Environmental Health Officer. He was responsible for preventing infectious diseases, carrying out food and safety hygiene inspections and for coordinating the health care waste management and the national sanitation campaign. Godfrey has a BA in Environmental Health Sciences from University of Dar es Salaam and in his spare time he enjoys watching football and sports, reading newspapers and magazines and socialising. His new role at Childreach Tanzania will see him managing the new pilot project Fit for School. This is a new programme focusing on preventable communicable diseases which aims to improve children's health through sanitation.
Florence will be supporting Jessie in setting up the new project and on the day to day implementation of the project activities. She has a degree in Community Development majoring in Project Planning and Management. Florence was previously working at the Ministry of Water in Singida and was responsible for water resources management, community awareness on water issues, policies, acts and regulations. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, going to church, singing and socializing.
Previously to joining Childreach Tanzania, Graides was an accountant for World Vision in Arusha, Tanzania for 9 years. She is our Finance Officer for Maisha Bora project and manages the implementation of financial activities and the project’s budget. Graides has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. In her spare time, Graides enjoys reading novels, watching television and coking.
Mary is a result orientated person, holding a degree in Community Development with over 6 years of field experience working in local community projects. Her main role is to manage and provide technical support to the programmes team with regard to programme implementation as well as conducting institutional fundraising. Previously Mary worked with USAID funded projects in the areas of WASH, Orphan and Vulnerable Children and child health services. In her free time she likes to travel and spend time with her son Patrick!
Mercy is responsible for ensuring that the nutrition component of the Maisha Bora programme is properly implemented. Before joining Childreach Mercy worked for World Education Inc./Bantwana as a Senior Nutrition Technical Field Officer on the Pamoja Tuwalee project. Mercy has a Masters in Nutrition and Rural Development from Ghent in Belgium. She enjoys reading, taking part in sports and cooking.
Nathan is a professional sign language interpreter in our Deaf Education Development Programme. His main roles include teaching sign language to deaf children, parents of the deaf children and youth. Before he started working with Childreach Tanzania Nathan worked with federation for people with disability in Mwanza region. He has certificate on sign language interpreter and experience of 18 years working with people with disabilities.
